Bousfield is an “outstanding” and happy primary school with 441 pupils, set in leafy surroundings between Earls Court and South Kensington.   We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and well organised individual who will be responsible for the school site, providing a safe, secure and clean working environment for staff, pupils and visitors.


The successful candidate will work alongside the School Business Manager, taking the lead on building maintenance, Health and Safety and site security.


Candidates will be able to demonstrate:


  • Experience of working in a similar role
  • Knowledge and experience of property maintenance and Health and Safety Compliance
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong IT skills including the use of Microsoft products such as Word, Excel and Outlook.  Knowledge of FMS would be an advantage
  • The ability to work under pressure, using their initiative and managing conflicting priorities
  • Evidence of working as part of a team
  • The ability and experience to undertake DIY tasks
  • A flexible, pro-active approach with a positive can-do attitude
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times


Experience of an educational environment would be an advantage.
