Bousfield Primary School

No uniform is worn at Bousfield but we ask children to wear sensible clothes and shoes suitable for a day at school. We have the following expectations:
  • Velcro fasteners on shoes are more practical than shoelaces for young children who are not yet used to tying their own laces.
  • All clothing must be named.
  • Children should not wear flimsy sandals which do not have ankle straps as these can be dangerous. If your child wears wellies to school, he/she will also need to bring a pair of shoes or trainers for use indoors.
  • No jewellery is to be worn to school except stud earrings and a watch (not a health trackers).
  • It is important that the children dress appropriately for PE by wearing the following clothes on days when they have PE or dance. This is so the children can move safely and freely.

    Plain white T Shirt
Navy shorts, leggings or tracksuit bottoms
    Sweatshirt or fleece

Optional Bousfield sweatshirts and T-shirts can be purchased through the school’s online payment system. Second hand items are available at our coffee mornings.
