Article 29 of the UNCRC (United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child) says:

“Education must develop every child’s potential, talents and abilities to the full.”

Every single day, Bousfield staff and governors are working hard to make sure that every child will have had the opportunity to:

  • Sing in a concert
  • Learn outside the classroom
  • Participate in a sporting event in school
  • Know what it feels like to be good at something and have achieved your very best
  • Learn new things and you will want to keep on learning more
  • Know how to keep yourself safe and happy
  • Understand just how incredible you are, believe in yourself and have confidence in your abilities
  • Know how to keep healthy and strong and understand how to look after your bodies
  • Learn how to get along well with other people
  • Feel part of your local community and be proud of your school 
  • Play an instrument in a concert
  • Learn a new language
  • Visit a central London Museum
  • Go to a museum or place of interest outside of London
  • Sleep at least one night away from school with your class
  • Visit a farm
  • Have a speaking part in a play
  • Represent your school in an RBKC Sports Event
  • Hold a position of responsibility within the school
  • Take part in a celebration for another faith/culture from your own
  • Grow – cook – and eat a vegetable in school
  • Join a School Club
  • Perform in a concert/production outside of school
  • Enter a school-based competition
  • Had a piece of your artwork displayed for all to see
  • Be an ambassador for your school
  • Work alongside an expert
